As-is, people will get kicked after a set amount of time by default.. it's been this way for a long while, and I suspect a lot of people might have been silently walled out like this. It should be a tiny one-liner fix to wherever the link is mentioned, and I'd be happy to submit a PR for it.

If you'll take for granted that I'm giving a correct one, this would work, for instance: https://discord.gg/ysXUdGwkQj
But if you'd prefer to do it yourself, the proper way is to right click on the server icon, click "Invite People", click the small blue "Edit invite link." button at the bottom, set it to "EXPIRE AFTER: Never" and "MAX NUMBER OF USES: No limit", make sure "Grant temporary membership" is unchecked, and then click "Generate a new link" before finally hitting "Copy".

..Actually it seems like it'd be a 3-liner fix! Since the link is mentioned in 3 places here.. so I spoke too soon :P
