Add toDeviceNumber and toDeviceId methods to core.

Different clouds can have different format for device ids in volumes. They do not always follow xvd.. and hd.. etc. And they can vary based on operating systems. Adding these methods to core and making it accessible in dasein drivers will make it easier to determine the correct format for device ids in the cloud.
