Starting the APU needs two button clicks which are right next to each other. How is this necessary?

I don't think I explained it very well. What I meant is you click the button then the APU will immediately be available.

We have a PR #8581 that will allow you to quickly switch to a preset. Besides that no other "quick" or "instant" functionality is planned. It should take care of your needs as the APU really doesn't take long to start. The adirs can take up to 7 minutes so there is a quick align button for those.

Leaving this ticket open as this is not fully addressed yet, could be added in the future (but not at this time).

Well as I said, I don't really see the need for this when #8581 is merged. As then you can just select the apu preset and have it all be quickly done.
