I wanted to read firmware from the chip with markings:
'GigaDevice
25LB128DSIG
AP2E625
HH2045'
It seemed like it wasn't supported, and I didn't have much experience, but I thought I could add support for this chip. To my surprise, it was recognized by flashrom as 'GD25LQ128C/GD25LQ128D/GD25LQ128E.' Still, read/erase/write/wp-status worked. I was saving logs, but due to some weird bug (Ubuntus GUI fault), only the erase log survived.
Even if I have all the logs, I don't think I can confidently say that all chips with this ID have been tested. So, is this information helpful?
