There is some support for STLink, but only the STLink in V3SET is recognized. The V3MINI should work in same way with the ST bride, the IDs for the STLink are different:

ID 0483:374f STMicroelectronics STLINK-V3   STLink-V3SET
ID 0483:374e STMicroelectronics STLINK-V3   STLink-V3MINI

V3MINI has also the SPI Interface and there are simple breakout boards as open source available.
