As described in

there is some issue with the picture on quantamagazine.org such that no images get extracted.
Apparently there is a similar issue for medium.com that, if I'm not mistaken, has been fixed by @HolgerAusB in

I wonder if the same can be done for Quanta?

@LnLcFlx, unfortunately the graph-images in the given article are JavaScript generated/inserted. Even the <noscript><img>you might see, when inspecting code in browser, is generated by Script. WTF.

I wrote a new site-config to catch the lead image and some section-lead-images (in other articles)

Your problem could be done by using wallabagger, a browser plugin, with activated option 'Content fetching from the browser'. This also fixes the broken LaTeX formulas. Sorry, that doesn't help with Fulltext-RSS, I though you've written in the wallabag project.

@fivefilters I am not shure if it could be helpful to configure FTR to use a dollar sign as TeX delimiter in MathJax. Will that only help for FTR's own preview or is that autmatically change the view for Feed Readers/Aggregators too, which are using FTR to subscribe full text feed?

But it could be helpful at pushtokindle
