Using SDL 2.0.22 I get high pitch sound in the game. Reverting back to SDL 2.0.10 avoids the issue.

System

  • Falltergeist: c86c7fe
  • Operating System: Windows x64
  • Fallout: GOG.com
  • Library: SDL 2.0.22

Could not reproduce it on MacOS

SDL2 found: 2.0.22
SDL_mixer found: 2.0.4
SDL_image found: 2.0.5

Will give it a try on Windows some day

No high pitch sounds here: Version: 2.0.22+dfsg-4. Git master (2022-07-09).
OS Devuan Ceres (linux)
Arch AARCH64
Great to see some work on falltergeist this year :) <3 Fallout2.
