Background

Version of Crispy DOOM: 6.0.0

Game: DOOM (these can possibly apply to Crispy Hexen and Heretic, but I don't use those)

Suggestion: New Crosshairs

The crosshairs that can be chosen are not the best in my opinion. They're too bulky and distracting, so I think tweaking them a little would be nice.

They all could have their outlines removed, and a setting toggling their transparency can be added.
You could also port over the crosshairs from Woof, alongside the tweaked ones I suggested above.

Suggestion: Removal of floppy disc icon

I've talked about this before with you guys with Woof, and you said that you could simply remove the icon entirely. I'd like to see that change also applied here possibly.

Crispy doesn't bundle any additional resources. Everything you see is either implemented in the source code or comes from IWAD resources. In fact, the three crosshairs are the '.', '+' and '^' characters in Doom's HUD font.

Crispy is a lot more classic and conservative than Woof. You can disable the disk icon in the config file - isn't that enough?

Well, then could you possibly add an option to change the crosshair's size and transparency?

I've noticed this in the config file too. I think it might be good to make it a setting in one of the executables, as I haven't noticed an option in in either of them.
