The problem originally reported here on Phosh also occurs on gnome-shell (45.2-2 from Debian trixie).

To repeat:

  1. Go to the contact details dialog (upper right icon in the headerbar)
  2. Click the icon on the right side of the OMEMO list item, OMEMO Key Management dialog opens
  3. Close the dialog by pressing Esc. The icon in the OMEMO list item now has keyboard focus.
  4. Press Enter
  5. Infinite OMEMO dialogs

I can repeat this on a release version of Dino from Debian (0.4.3-2) and on git HEAD compiled locally.

It's very hard to kill Dino with dialogs spawning all the time, so make sure you have access to an external console, ssh or similar before testing. Spawning dialogs will eventually bring down the whole system by consuming all the memory, so I'd say this is a pretty serious bug.
