I'm trying to load 1.5 mil triangles OBJ file generated by meshroom but after about 10 min of loading and eating all the 16Gb of RAM mesh maker vr crashes. The OBJ file itself is correct as any OBJ viewer can load and display it. Also opens fine in blender using about 1Gb RAM.

Win 10, Oculus Rift CV1, latest steam VR

MMVR is pretty much abandoned at this point. Perhaps try Google Blocks? I stopped actively developing MMVR when Blocks was released as I can't compete with a large company funded product.

The reality is that I would love to continue developing MMVR, but it just doesn't make sense for me economically. People have to eat.

I didn't realize import still wasn't a thing in Google Blocks. That sucks. MMVR is mostly open source (there are a few paid dependencies from the Unity Store), so if anyone with the necessary skill wants to improve it they can.

If Google Blocks hadn't been released, we'd probably be having a much different conversation as I likely wouldn't have stopped developing MMVR. I just have no desire to compete with the likes of Google.
