Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
That happened to me after I upgraded my desktop to Win 11. I forgot to plug-in my webcam. As it is a new installation, I gave mic-usage permission again, but could not record. There was an error on the console of course, but nothing on the web page indicating a problem.

Describe the solution you'd like
The no-recording-device problem can be fetched and shown as an error
