I recently purchased a 2021 Odyssey Touring. I'd be open to using my vehicle for testing if you need more vehicles. I don't have the Hardware yet but once I obtain it then I'd be open to providing data. |

Given the 2021 Toyota Sienna TSS 2.0 security check, the 2021 Odyssey is looking like the only option if you want an OP supported mini van. There’s also the 2021 Pacifica but that’s not as popular as the Sienna and Odyssey. Is this good enough to merge with master and just accepting the 45mph steering limitation? |

Hi Folks! I am going to buy Odyssey 2021 in few days. Is this issue will be fixed or impossible for this model year to be fixed? So I shall buy the car accordingly. Thanks. |

Can someone help me to make my Honda Odyssey 2021 recognized by the software, even if it has a 45mph limit? |

Will comma/openpilot work with a 2021 Odyssey? I don't see it list in one the compatible cars |

Edit 11/19: Edit 10/31: The stock camera and radar are on the same 10/23/21 - Update time! Knowing that all 2021+ Bosch cars are in the same boat, I've redone the port this time including the Odyssey. Less edits, but more commits throughout the project. Need to do some through testing and then submit PRs. As for the Odyssey, I'm submitting it as a steer lockout car. Meaning that the driver will able to use ACC at all speeds as normal, but will see a low speed steering warning on the screen when the radar is blocking our torque request. |

Breakthrough!2021+ Odyssey can steer down to ~3mph with the radar disabled! Thanks to Discord user Accord 2021+ is now in master. Give it a try! |

Not yet, but I'm getting close! Waiting for more data to come in so I can
find the true minimum steer speed. So far I've seen about 36.5mph as the
minimum but it's not always that as there seems to be a time component to
it.

Looks like this new branch does indeed work fine based on the few good user reports so far. Yay replay testing! The plan is to push this to the odyssey_c3 branch on Saturday. I've updated the firmware id list a couple of times now which is great. I haven't added in anything for the RDX yet. I'll get to it Saturday as well. |

I'm probably asking in the wrong place, but what do I need to buy to make this work in my 23 Odyssey? I have never done anything with OpenPilot. So far it looks like I need: Comma 3x Am I missing anything? When I buy the 3x I don't add a harness right? The only harness I see that you can add is the Honda Odyssey 2018-2020 so I didn't add one. |

Hi Chris! Thanks for your work on this - it seems it’s all down to you! Any updates? I’m sure many can’t wait to have this merged upstream, and included in the next Openpilot master (if that’s the correct terminology, lol). The new versions of Openpilot add so much potential. Thank you! |

Hi Chris, many thanks for your continued work on these forks. Long time appreciative watcher of this thread with a '22 Odyssey and a comma 2 that died. I replaced the mainboard, successfully as far as I can tell, following the pinned instructions from the hw-two-eon discord. Then followed instructions at https://github.com/jyoung8607/neos-manual-install, as I ran into the same no Internet connection issue. When I install stock openpilot using jyoung8607's script, everything seems to be working fine. Obviously, plugging into my harness in the Odyssey shows the car not recognized... However, when I install your odyssey fork (using jyoung8607's instructions), it boots up, comma logo spins, but then screen goes dark (but display is clearly on and backlit, if that makes sense). Any idea what could be causing this? Perhaps I'm having a similar problem as dream2372? I will just add that pressing and holding the power button does bring up the "power off, reboot, settings" menu on the display, and I can access the wifi settings, for example. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Wanted to share this update with this group. After much trial and error, Sunny Haibin’s sunnypilot, with the new Acura RDX selected, works perfectly for the Honda Odyssey. No errors. Only flaw I’ve found so far is once steering is overwhelmed, it disengages the steering aspect until you toggle sunnypilot off and on. Otherwise, it works well and is based on newest openpilot w/ driving models, it steers down to 0, etc. Hopefully we can get the Odyssey properly fingerprinted and any flaws ironed out. |

Yes, that’s exactly what I mean by both points. When on the torque is
overwhelmed (which doesn’t happen as often as you think on highways). And
when it does happen, just toggle cruise control on and off.

I've recently joined the Comma3x club and installed Sunnypilot's I'm happy to contribute by doing test drives. What do you need from me, and how can I test your branch? Does it allow control under 45 mph? Currently, it only works at 45 mph or above. I have enabled almost all experimental features. At speeds over 45 mph, it performs a lane change with the signal and a nudge of the wheel. One limitation I've noticed is that it definitely can’t take turns as well as the Camry I'm also testing. The steering torque isn’t much. Additionally, you can encounter a situation where the set speed on the Comma system is different from the cruise control speed on the car, causing the car to go faster than the comma system thinks it should. This difference in speed limit or cruise control amount occurs when you adjust the cruise control on the car (turning it off and on, or changing the set speed up and down). The Comma system doesn't seem to sync with these changes as well as it does in the 2023 Camry. I'm curious if your branch offers more advanced features than what I currently have. I'm happy to test things for you. If you have a link to your branch, please send it over. Essentially, this setup is fine for highway driving above 45 mph. |

Enable Sunnypilot’s “openpilot’s longitudinal control (alpha)” in toggles,
and it will work down to 0mph.

Is test_odyssey_c3 still installable? Download fails at 10% for me. openpilot / sunnypilot installs no problem. UPD: installed stock openpilot, tried to install test_odyssey_c3, was stuck at "registering device, serial / imei" screen. |

Updated: 1/1/2024: New branch for c3/c3x!
In progress:
Completed:
These cars are mostly similar to the previous models. The Odyssey however has moved from Nidec to Bosch. Honda has introduced some new challenges with this port as seen below.
Further, the press release for the 2021 Accord mentions changes to the ADAS system and I suspect some of the work here may apply to the new generation of Bosch ADAS equipped Honda vehicles.
Edit: I'm not seeing any torque differences on the new Accords. The system does stay engaged more of the time, so it appears they're utilizing the capabilities of the system more than before.
Notes:
Todo:
Thanks to our user @kdday and others for supplying their vehicles for this port!
