My build of 310 does not show the TAP additions to Network

Following on I've managed to build a deb package for 310 and installed it in my build of cockpit 314, and the version of cockpit-machine is showing 310 in Help/About Web Console.
But I don't see any change to features in either Networking or Virtual Machine Network Interfaces

What else do I need to do?

What made you suspect TAP additions would work in 310? What version did you use before?

from a google search and I thought I'd traced the commit back to v310
And as the versions in Jammy Backports are so out of date, I thought I might find this feature addition in an up to date build.
