Considering python 2.7 EOL and datapusher being python3 compatible already, I suggest we drop python 2.7 support from datapusher.

Things we need to complete to drop python 2.7 support:

Cut a final release 0.0.18 that supports python 2.7
Remove python 2.7 compatibility code from datapusher and tests
Cut a release with a bump in minor revision to distinguish change e.g. 0.1.0
Modify shield for supported python versions
