Hello,
I'm currently investigating the feasibility of a scenario to allow sharing of data sets among scientists in our field.
There are multiple issues in term of data sovereignty so we would like to make a template that each scientists in their countries could deploy.
This template would allow a standardized deployment with some centralized settings and ontology, but datasets would stay in the country where they were produced.
all metadata and data structure would be homogenized and controlled on a 'master' server.
And the search engine would be able to search through metadatas of all instances, may be with a routine indexation and request of access would redirect to the country's instance.

Do you think this is achievable with ckan ?
