Description
On the old website there was a page with CKAN instances (ckan.org/instances) which no longer exists. We want to revive it.

Expected behaviour
When visiting ckan.org website, one should be able to

  1. see a list of all CKAN instances
  2. add their instance to the list (after moderator approval)

Ideally this would be a subpage of the Showcase page - ckan.org/showcase/instances (although open to other suggestions).

we can use a link to datashades.info - there we already have a huge list of CKAN websites worldwide

@popovayoana, @Alex-Pavlyuk Hi. I've looked through this issue. What did you decide finally? Just a link (button) to datashades.info (simple and fast) or a new page (complex, long while and some clarifications are needed)?

@Alex-Pavlyuk @Alex-Pavlyuk IMO we can hold that one for now as we have no clear intentions and vision atm
