@DerTimonius did you do an editable or non-editable install in Step 6? Whichever you did try, can you try the other to see if it makes a difference. If not, can you post a complete |

I can reproduce this. It is a github workflow issue and is not Windows-specific. If you fork the bokeh repo via the github UI the default behaviour is to "Copy the

Hi everyone 👋
Description of the error
I was following the excellent guide for setting up the development environment to work on issue #12752 . Things went pretty smoothly up until step 7: when running
bokeh sampledata
I got the following error(there were a lot more files above that, but not of them did show more than the filenames)
I tried resetting everything, including the environment, but it didn't help. I was wondering if the
bokeh
command itself was working but sadly I got the same error.What behavior did I expect
I expected that the sampledata would download without any errors.
What systems am I using
I'm running the code described in the setup guide inside the
Anaconda Prompt
The next will probably not be important but I'm leaving them here nontheless
