I am trying to pitch BokehJS for a project where I think that incentives/goals would line up very nicely [1]. There are some folks who would like more details regarding performance, e.g
@mattpap what are the options today? I know in the past debug log level would report paint times in the console, but AFAIK those were removed? Perhaps we could add observable paint events so that the framerate during interactions can be inspected or recorded directly?
[1] Specifically, for me, it would require using BokehJS directly in real-world applications, the learnings of which I would turn back into documentation and examples.
