(This is in reference to this q on bokeh Community Support; apologies if I left out info or this is in the wrong place)
Below is an example of how a faulty ColorBar widget can cause a plot not to render. This tripped a DOMException once show() was called, see attached console screenshot.
Is it possible to increase visibility into errors on the JS side of bokeh outside the browser console - either all the way back to the python console or having something render that makes it clear a JS error was encountered?
Would be handy for users unfamiliar with JS & where to look for related errors (like me!).
Thanks!
Snip from console w error message (browser: MS Edge 97.0.1072.62):
(the lone "Warning" caught here is for "could not set initial ranges", since the plot has no data)
