Describe the bug
In Ubuntu 20.04.6, while using bleachbit from deb provided in website, the app provides misleading app title i.e,

1> While using non-root bleachbit app title is displayed as BleachBit as Administrator .

2> While using Bleachbit root, the app title is read BleachBit

This is Misleading.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to Blechbit & Bleachbit Root in Ubuntu 20.04
  2. See the App title in panel
  3. See error

The error happens every time.

Expected behaviour
Correct title should be displayed .

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04
  • BleachBit version: 4.6.0

That .desktop files look correct, so this is weird. Do you have the default window manager? How exactly are you launching the app?

When in the app, click the hamburger menu or application icon. In the drop down, click System Information, and look for the following lines.

os.getenv('LOGNAME') = foo
os.getenv('USER') = foo
os.getenv('SUDO_UID') = None

They may indicate whether you are running as root. Do they match the launcher or the app title in the panel?

Unfortunately, i am no longer using Ubuntu 20.04 , hence i don't think i will be able to help much going forward AFAIK i reported this bug with a default Ubuntu 20.04 installation with no modifications from my side.

Hope someone else on Ubuntu 20.04, will confirm the bug and help you with this.
