riak_core_stat:update(dropped_vnode_requests). (riak_core_vnode_proxy.erl:275) doesn't seem to be incrementing dropped_vnode_requests_total on the stats endpoint.

This is critical to determining if there are problems with disterl, or overload within Riak. IDeally, riak_core_vnode_proxy would have more instrumentation.
