Hey Guys,

We are heavy users of the Sagemaker Studio and we already connected our Sagemaker Studio Notebooks to the Neptune clusters that we are using in the company.

We found the following LC configuration - install-graph-notebook-lc. I have a feature request that can speed the adoption of the Neptune for us and I believe this will be great for the community.

One of the 2 options will help a lot, especially with the maintenance of the dev tools for Neptune:

  • AWS managed ECR image with the tools from the above LC (We can register it in the SM Studio as the custom image)
  • AWS managed Sagemaker Studio image with the graph tooling from the LC above (This is a preferred solution and in this case we don't need to manage anything, just need to choose the proper image on the SM Studio instance startup)

There is already an image for Graph Notebook on the ECR Public Gallery here: https://gallery.ecr.aws/neptune/graph-notebook

Are you referring to a need for something different than that image?

@triggan

Thank you for pointing this out, I will give it a try.

Ideally, I would like to have the Image by default available for the Sagemaker Studio startup as the default similar to the Data Science 3.0 or PyTorch
