Please describe the issue with Gaia17bpp's data here, be as descriptive as possible! If you believe the issue appears in other events as well, please identify which other events the issue possibly extends to.

This is certainly not a SN - it brightened by roughly 4 1/2 magnitudes over 3 years and has stayed constant at the brighter level for the last 3 years. There is a hint in the light curve that it may have had a very deep & long fade with the minimum value around mid 2015. It needs some older observations to confirm its historic brightness.
