It seems like fuzzy searches work under some circumstances but not others:

  1. This works as expected (I find misspellings of "galaxy" e.g. "galaxies"): =abstract:galaxy~0.8 NOT =abstract:galaxy
  2. This seems to work as expected (but check if all synonyms are being used): abstract:galaxy~0.8 NOT abstract:galaxy
  3. This does not work (probably because of unfielded expansion): =galaxy~0.8 NOT =galaxy
  4. Same for this: galaxy~0.8 NOT galaxy

More in general, we should document for which fields this feature is available and how it works.
