Problem Statement
Currently, when trying to preview a page in laptop/desktop, the document is not fully visible. As a result of this ticket, we should consider a UX enhancement to improve real-time page previewing.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to: https://da.live/edit#/adobecom/da-milo-college/drafts/iscandar/walking-down-an-alley
  2. click on Laptop or Desktop preview
  3. note the document not being fully visible

Actual

  • document not fully visible

Expected

  • document should be fully visible

Notes:

  • I am using a Macbook Pro 16inch

There's a window size problem here that we cannot really address. You are basically asking here, "Please show me content that is bigger than my screen." which we can't really fix. Even now we make editor smaller than I deem acceptable.

You have three paths to unblock this:

  1. Zoom out in your browser.
  2. Deal with the horizontal scrolling.
  3. Buy a bigger monitor.

Maybe long term there's something we can do... hide the editor (not ideal) or make the horizontal scroll better... but there's not a lot of we are going to be very specific about a desktop size.
