Describe the bug
I noticed that after update from 1.x to 2.x preferences (i.e. Apple ID account, faster unxip etc.) are reset to default setting like after a clean install. I've done small investigation and I found out that since the team has been changed (xcodesOrg), app looks for (and stores) preferences in a different place:
was: com.robotsandpencils.XcodesApp
is: com.xcodesorg.xcodesapp
So now the old set of preferences is still there, but they are unused. This can be verified in terminal by running defaults read com.robotsandpencils.XcodesApp and defaults read com.xcodesorg.xcodesapp.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Install XcodesApp 1.x, enable faster unxip.
Update to 2.x, check status of faster unxip preference.
Expected behavior
Ideally, preferences should be migrated, old domain removed.
Version
OS: 13.6.5
Xcodes: 2.1.1
