Comparison result column: "... files are identical" behaves differently on two PCs

Hi.
I run a similar test comparison on two PCs (say PC-A, PC-B) (Both Win11)
Simple test - Two folders containing text files.
Comparing folders with no filtering (.), I see this:
PC-A: The compare window lists all the files with "Text files are identical" under Comparison result.
PC-B: The compare window shows no files. (If I add an extra file in one folder, it shows that as the difference). So it is not showing me identical files, only different.

Why do they behave differently? I have searched for some setting that controls this and can find no reference in the manual, no setting.
(I would like to see the "xxxx files are identical" result)

Can someone please point me in the correct direction. I must be missing something but have gone through every setting I could find.
