The day we all dread has come, twitter blocked us. So, can it be changed to be a reader like Fritter, without the need of APIs?

Xauth still works with twidere

I tried using this link containing custom API's and none worked for me, always getting "error 32: could not authenticate you."

Try this: user settings, oauth, password sign in, not sign in,

Perhaps twidere authentication box could be separated into a separate app that could be used to sign in dead third-party Twitter apps?
