macOS Snapshots aren't notarized

Could a notarization step be added to the auto-updating snapshot release? I know of the workaround for unnotarized apps but it would be nicer to have it notarized, perhaps even by GitHub Actions workflow

This would be nice but we don't currently have access to an apple developer account that we'd be comfortable using from ghactions.
