When you editing species, change the parent to a family-group taxon. Than scroll down to Classification section. Click the button "Set as parent" and select an incertae sedis relationship (this is optional of cause). If you select incertae sedis relationship, you can put a citation of the relationship.

The species with a family as a parent taxon will be listed under that family, and the genus part of the name will be replaced with the original genus.
