Feature or enhancement

Currently, the entries in the "Nomenclature references" box in TaxonPages are put in alphabetical order. Several of my Aphid Species File users have commented that they would much rather see the entries listed in chronological order. Personally, I also would rather they be chronological. Thank you for considering this request!

Implementing this request would effect every taxon page on TaxonPages.

OSF user community has also asked for this same thing. @jlpereira @LocoDelAssembly Belen, Holger can all verify this and you can see it in their community focus-group notes.

Same chronological order of Nomenclature and Nomenclature references might make it less complicated to access the digitized references, having to switch back and forth, with combinations and page numbers above and the links below. Perhaps make the order customizable?

I agree that the nomenclatural references would be easier to use if they were sorted by year.
