Macos universal builds failing for plugins

Describe the bug
This is more of a question. We've been getting macos failures on circlci, which previously built. We updated everything in Nov to be the most current, so there would be some longevity.

That seems not to be the case.
Any similar experience with macos universal builds?

If this is a question, it is certainly not a bug and should be converted to a Discussion.

If it actually is a bug please fill in the form, notably the steps causing the issue and relevant logs from failed build(s)

WTF It is a bug either in CI or in circleci.

It is a bug, caused by change in the CCI host images, specifically related to python version upgrade.
I don't see any reason to publish new plugins just for this patch. It only relates to tooling, not plugin functionality.

I'll make a PR to one of your plugins, if you like, and you may propagate further as required.

So, which plugin is currently pending a MacOS build that I can PR for?

Hi Rick,
   I have got it going again, v1.0.295.0, I had to specify python@3.11 to get it to work even though it does not always install it seems to make it build OK. This change is in the master branch now.

Dave, we just were working with jon and my repos of testplugin. Jon has found a part solution I think.
