You need to set the render mode for you application/page. <!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8" />
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
<base href="/" />
<link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="favicon.png" />
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Roboto:300,400,500,700&display=swap" rel="stylesheet" />
<link href="_content/MudBlazor/MudBlazor.min.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<HeadOutlet @rendermode="InteractiveServer"/>
</head>
<body>
<Routes @rendermode="InteractiveServer"/>
<script src="_framework/blazor.web.js"></script>
<script src="_content/MudBlazor/MudBlazor.min.js"></script>
</body>
</html> Read https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/blazor/components/render-modes?view=aspnetcore-8.0 |

Hi,
Please note that I am new to web development in general, Blazor, MudBlazor, HTML and CSS ...
Here is the link to my TryMudBlazor : https://try.mudblazor.com/snippet/ckQyYJlNopSqkNih
The second line is my MudTextField and when you run it, it behaves correctly, The correct behavior I'm talking about is that the Label is first displayed inside the text area (as the field is blank) and once filled in, the label moves to the top left and the value is displayed in the text area. When the control loses focus, the text is still displayed with the label top left.
In my project, however, once the control loses focus, the label drops down to the text area partially overwriting the captured text :
Any idea on what is causing this ?
Thank you
Alex
