Installing from requirements.txt leads to the installation of ?every version of the packages needed #161

Windows WSL2 Ubuntu behaves similarly using requirements.txt, chugs away for days, seems to hang, etc. eg

Yes! I too have this error. Cloned repo, create venv, upgrade pip and install requirements:

Can you confirm what version of python you're using? I suggest 3.9 in case you're using something newer. |
3.11.8. Got it working by manually installing each requirement. With 3.11.8 you have to upgrade wheel otherwise you get the following error:

There's something with the Docker build files. Installing from requirements.txt makes it install seemingly every available version of the required pip packages, leading to lines like this:
