allow user to delete or hide a resources, including templates.

for templates, it might be better to have a way to hide them vs delete them, in case resources were created based on them.

for all resources, probably want to restrict this that you can't hide or delete something unless you (or someone else in your group) created it

i made a template as an experiment, but don't need it anymore. i want to delete or hide it so that the list of templates isn't clogged with unused templates

currently a user has to open a ticket and request deletion of a resource

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
an alternative could be to have a few superuser/admin user types (not developers) who have the power and training to delete things, and other users could make a request for deletions
