Loaded AIA data from 17-19 March 2016, checked active regions, CMEs and filaments. However, only CACTus CME events were displayed in the image panel, and only filaments in the time series panel, w/o any error message to the user. ->??

To check, I opened the same AIA data in JHV 2.3.3. The HEK events list displayed was much shorter (only filaments and flares), indicating that maybe something is wrong with the HEK right now.

-> The user should receive feedback whenever a request/choice can not successfully be completed.

It looks like the last active region events in the HEK are on 12 March 2016, shortly after 00:00. However, this is not visible to the user. It would be better to (a) only present those event types to the user for which there is data during a given period, if there is a gap/dropout in event coverage during a long time interval, the user should be notified as well to ensure this is not mistaken for physical absence of events. Thanks!
