UI improvement suggestion: "sync" button and time range/cadence selector #262

  • I believe some users are unsure what this button does. I would therefore suggest clarifying this by writing "Synchronize all layers to master time interval".
  • I also realized that this button triggers retrieval of JPX files for all layers not only with this master time interval, but also the default number of frames of 97. Assuming the user has just loaded a layer with a specific time range and time step, this might not what he/she expects. A possible solution would be to add a time step line to the GUI below the time range selector, as in the New Image Layer window. Would that be worth trying - or do you consider the risk too high that people would request too many large files?
