Description of the feature or enhancement you'd like to see in HandBrakeI'm converting a large video collection to MP4 because I want to be able to watch mobile in my browser. After converting entire folders, I must manually delete all source files. An option to do this automatically would be great. What Operating System are you running?Windows 10 What version of HandBrake are you running?1.7.3 (2024021000) Where did you download HandBrake from?No response Activity Log, Crash Log or any other detailsNo response |

Since there is no way for us to validate the encode after it's done, it's not something we'll implement directly. However, if your happy to take the risk, you can always do this by means of a "When done" script. You can pass the source to the script to have it remove it. Just note, a successful encode (even valid) encode, can be considered a failure so I would advise caution doing this. |

Thanks a lot for the hint and the advice! Btw: is there a possibility to donate for HandBrake? |

Just in case anyone else wants this behavior too, I added my Windows Console App here. Arguments to use: {source} {exit_code} |

Nice one. Converted to discussion and marked your script as an answer so others can more easily find it. Thanks |

DelVidSrc.zip
It checks the exit code of HandBrake and only deletes the source file if it is 0. Otherwise it adds an entry to C:\Logs\VideoConversionErrors.log
