Description

Google allows us to set the Cloud Armor tier to the PAYG version using the GCloud CLI (and an API behind it it looks like):

https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/reference/rest/v1/projects/setCloudArmorTier
https://cloud.google.com/armor/docs/managed-protection-using#gcloud

It would be nice to have this available as a Terraform resource. The docs are not consistent in terminology, but the API call and the gcloud command are to the same thing.

New or Affected Resource(s)

  • google_compute_project_cloud_armor_tier

Potential Terraform Configuration

resource "google_compute_project_cloud_armor_tier" "this" {
  cloud_armor_tier = "CAMP_PLUS_PAYGO"
  project = "some-optional-id"
}
