On occasion (usually BTW server starting a new map; unsure if it happens due to player number overload at the moment of map switch) the popup of "The Server Sent Unexpected Data" appears. Clicking Restart causes the game to reboot as expected but the game version mysteriously reverts to an older version. In 2.6.3 and 2.6.5 it has reverted to 2.6 but 2.6.8 reverts to 2.5. Have not tested on 2.6.4, 2.6.6 and 2.6.7.
This isn't a biggie since it's easy to just click Quit and restart GG2 fully, but for those who do click Restart inadvertently they have no means of accessing the servers again until full restart because of the version mismatch.
We could actually fix this by moving back to a two-executables model for the updater again, with one of them being called something with "setup" or "update", because that will make Windows automatically try to run it with admin rights.
Or we could at least check whether the game location is inside the %programfiles% path and warn...

changed the title
The Server Sent Unexpected Data -> Revert to 2.5 or 2.6
The updater does not really overwrite the game files if they are under C:\Program Files\ or similar
