The default bitly API changed from v3 used by this client to v4.
It seems that they shut down quite a while ago :D

Due to their quota plans that's not really an option anymore (10/month).
@joker234 said some time ago we might also want this for organization wide link shortening.
Maybe we can take a look into self hosted ones

Organization-wide link shortening would be dope :))

Maybe this german service could be an option for the transition period?

yup, agree. Organization wide would be quite helpful.
