Great chapter and examples,

a few remarks:

maybe add an introduction paragraph on what can be done generally with spatial processing? what is spatial and non-spatial, ...
add link to filtering data (see comment on line 23)
mention a few example applications for spatial joins, or select by location.
add useful example application of centroids
