Dear ChimeraOS Team,

My name is Raul Popescu and I am a passionate user of games. I would like to give you some suggestions to improve ChimeraOS.

First, I think it would be useful to add the Nvidia drivers, as they are essential for gaming performance on the Linux platform. I also think it would be beneficial to customize the Gnome interface to be more gaming oriented.

I would like the interface to be similar to Steam when it launches, with Steam being full screen. I'm referring to Steam's "Big Picture" mode, and I wish the Gnome GUI looked more like a game launcher instead of a traditional desktop mode.

This could be a significant improvement for those looking to build their own console. In addition, I suggest improving the integration with other game launchers or stores, such as Epic Games, GOG, Ubisoft and others.

In conclusion, I want ChimeraOS to have a more gaming-oriented look and feel, similar to the Steam interface in "Big Picture" mode, instead of a traditional desktop mode.

Thank you for your attention to this feedback and I look forward to seeing future improvements to ChimeraOS.

Respectfully,
Raul Popescu

I suspect your issue is that your GPU is not supported and you are being dropped to the desktop mode as a fallback.

The default mode for supported GPUs is indeed what you are asking for: Steam Big Picture mode.

Nvidia support is coming, but the game mode currently is not compatible with it.
