PyThea fits data are searched and downloaded with Fido which is a unified interface provided by SunPy for searching and fetching solar data.
For the moment PyThea uses the default SunPy directory to store the .fits files. This location is set in the sunpy config file and it is in the ~/sunpy/data. To view the sunpy configuration file and find the download directory you can do:
