Did you try the test upload explained on the Troubleshooting page? It will tell you what files and directories exist when lftp first connects to the server which will help determine what path to use. Did you read the first section of the Troubleshooting -> Uploads page? I am pretty sure that will explain how to fix your problem. |

Is the image being updated in the WebUI's "Liveview" page? If not, see the second question in the FAQ Documentation page. Otherwise, First make sure you are telling it to upload the image in the If that didn't fix it then increase the Debug Level in the WebUI to at least 3 and run Are there any error messages? If not, log into your server and go to the directory pointed to by the IMG_DIR setting in |

Since you only have a Remote Website and not a local one the WEB_*_DIR variables should not be used. And the *_DESTINATION_NAME variables should not be used with an Allsky Website because the Website looks for files with a certain name. The documentation shows the correct entries. The After you have made those changes, please attach the top half of your ftp-settings.sh file. As you said, |

@AstroAdam, A couple posts ago I said
I'm assuming you did that, and yet your ftp-settings.sh page still doesn't match the documentation, which is cause the problem you're seeing. Do you have a suggestion on how I could improve that documentation page so it's clearer what should be done? |

@EricClaeys its ok nothing is wrong with your documentation i have now copied the example from Settings -> Allsky Website into my ftp-settings.sh im guessing i should still put public_html in front of each directory my ftp-setting.sh page

We're close. This line is key:
It has the "from" file name correct, but not the "to" name - it should be There is a setting in I suggest reading the FYI, a LOT of people have made similar mistakes with the Website settings, so in the next Allsky release many of those settings are gone and it will be much easier and less error prone to configure the Websites. And the tools will check for more problems and alert you when found. These changes are a result of watching people like you who have struggled with the settings. I blame Allsky for being too complex, not the people who are using Allsky. Thanks for sticking with me. |
