I'm trying to run this OS in a KVM based vm but flashing it doesn't detect any bootable media

I have tried every VM software out there. It isn't possible. You need to use actual hardware to run Thorium OS

@I-like-stuff @MEGA-Dawg68 Actually, Ironically, me and @j03ll0b0 just got ThoriumOS running in a VM yesterday. It was in MacOS using the UTM virtual machine software. I eventually would like to get it working in VMWare using configs from FydeOS. ChromiumOS has never worked in Virtualbox, and probably never will.

I am more of a Windows guy. Do you know of any software I could use? I would love to use ThoriumOS as a VM where I can do my school work which is pretty much web based. I have another question if you could answer. Does ThoriumOS have the play store? so I can install apps?

Oh... I deleted it thinking it was double posting, anyhow, it's qemu under the hood, I'll have to ask the UTM team if there is anything we should be aware of for the regular build to work, but I think if we just copy over the one-liner and test... It just might work in your host.

@MEGA-Dawg68 Why can it only run windows? Also I am going to try to add VMWare support in V121.

I custom built my with an ASUS motherboard and it's bluetooth chip inside died. When booting linux it tried to talk to the bluetooth chip but it fails and tries again for 5 minutes, making the boot sequence take 5 minutes. Windows doesn't try to connect for 5 minutes. If you have any suggestions on how to get around the bluetooth problem I am all ears

Little update, I got thoriumOS to work on QEMU with virt-manager. The only real requirement is a CPU with integrated graphics, and the virtio video model. If anyone in this thread wants to know more, pls message me. Ive spent many nights fixing all the dumb user errors :)
